From: Argent Stonecutter One, two, many, many-one, many-two, many-many, lots, lots-one, lots-two, lots-many, ...
I think after many-many comes many-many-one By the way I'm still waiting to know how this is different from sculpties... "articulation" means they can morph? It'll sure be funny if we find out it's a picture of sculpties!

If you go by the Heroes of Might and magic ... Few: 1-4 Several: 5-9 Pack: 10-19 Lots: 20-49 Horde: 50-99 Throng: 100-249 Swarm: 250-499 Zounds: 500-999 Legion: 1000 + Many would have to be more than a few obviously. Several is not quite many and Lots is similar to many in many ways. If we go conservative and acept a pack as many, then many many would be at least 100 (many*many) which is a Throng. I would easly see many many being a throng. Therefore, many many years ago puts us between Charles Babbage and Allen Turing.

:0 wouldn't some semi-ambitious person hafta just make every single limb-piece with rounded ends to at least get an articulated avatar figure?? (along with written permission by marvel co.? ;0) seems to me a really sweet idea, more of a 'full sculpture' than just a simpliefied, lathed 'sculptie'... unless i'm misunderstanding the preview presented...

From: EF Klaar New mesh = new wardrobe? Exactly! Whether or not the Hulk moved, it was based or built upon a new mesh that LL is developing. THAT is what is exciting. (Didn't they also mention greater compatibility with 3d modeling programs that users could have? What I'd really love is such a program in-world!) And yes it will probably be here in 2015. Or maybe not... I hope they don't follow The Sims/Spore's model for release dates. Still, it's such welcome news, however far away.

The "seamed" look is part of the original model, http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/448184 for comparison

So... someone at LL pays $60 for a 3D object from a 3rd party site, that violates their own IP rules as set forth in the Marketplace Listing Guidelines, and uses it as an example of the great things in store for the SL platform.
Schweet.
O yeah, I'm excited now.
