I said "I'm saying that people going to an event has nothing much to do with the product. The use of Traffic for ranking is imperfect. However, at least the traffic generated by an enjoyable event represents the parcel giving something (other than cash) to the community."
Club next door to Mainstore on same parcel Hypothetical example : Type in "Hats" in Places Search.....this particular Mainstore shows traffic of 25K for "Hats" keyword and in the no.1 position, despite having minimal traffic inside the shop during the course of the day. Right or wrong?

Right or wrong? Pretty crazy. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that such a situation is OK. Read what I wrote. I was simply trying to find something good to say about a place running events that attract avatars- as opposed to a place paying people to be on the parcel. LL seem to be absolutely dead set against removing Traffic as a metric of whatever weight. If that's a given then events not directly related to product are going to affect things. I really don't see LL getting involved in policing events forstores into non-search parcels. Never going to happen I'd say.

From: Ciaran Laval You're having me at it! You're saying gifts are ok for rewarding picks but cash isn't? This is quite a revelation! .. It's an imperfect world. There is the caveat that the products should not be transferable. The avatar has to want the product for themselves. That would indicate something good about the product. If the products were tradeable, it would be opening a cash vector.
