You don't need a fancy mouse to right click on a Mac. The stock mouse will work just fine. You have to go into Preferences ... ok not at my Mac, don't remember exactly where ... probably 'Mice' or something appropriate, and look at the settings and turn on right-clicking.
Works great, couldn't live without it. Or, just Ctrl-click.

Of course, I'm referring to recent vintage Mac mice. As in this year or last. Also has a scroll "wheel" on it. (Really a little ball) The new buttonless mouse should be quite interesting. Anyone using it?

From: Zizonus Serapis You don't need a fancy mouse to right click on a Mac. No, you just need a cheap common everyday mouse. The Microsoft mouse I use costs $15.00 and is far better than the fancy mice Apple charges five times as much for.

Works great, couldn't live without it. Or, just Ctrl-click. That's what I was tryin' to say. It has more than one button but the right one isn't activated until you do this, for some reason. But this mouse comes with the computer, no extra cost, and works fine. It does get gummed up easily but then just bang it against the desk. Lol

From: Melita Magic But this mouse comes with the computer, no extra cost, Unless you bought a Mac mini or a Macbook, or you bought your Mac before they came out with the "Mighty Mouse", or it's broken and you're buying a new mouse. OS X has supported normal two-button mice natively since it first came out. And if you plug a regular two-button mouse in it just works. I have no idea why they treat their own mouse specially, but I've never had any problem using regular PC mice with my Mac under OS X. Edit: the reason I gave the mouse back is because I have nerve damage in my right arm, and using Apple's mice is extremely painful for me... not because I didn't know how to enable the right button emulation.

From: Argent Stonecutter not because I didn't know how to enable the right button emulation. I never thought so. My posts were for the people out there who just wanted to know how to enable the mouse they already had.
