I already snuck over to redgrave's and bought one skin + the shape.
Got back to my place, got totally nekkid and was ready to try it on when BAM! I crashed. Log back on to find myself naked on Help Island surrounded by about 30 people. Had to go to work. The adventure will continue... |

The Body Politik has some very nice male shapes and skins.
Body Doubles has a newbie pack for males... I don't know whether there's an age limit on picking it up. As far as African skins, try searching for "ethnic skins". |

There are too many pretty boy skins in SL. The faces aren't handsome or rugged. They just look like a male fashion model. The realistic skins seem to avoid that problem but those are very specific faces.

Agree. I never found one with crows feet around the eyes. I finally setteled on a line that didn't look too efeminent. At least to me. YMMV
