You know, I support a lot of the arguments againzt the Ursula/Zindra/Kama City stuff. I having big issues with the search filtering. There's a lot to debate.

But this has gotten to the point of silly. I mean, really.

I fail to see anything remotely sexual in that build. You know, back then, they actually had dungeons like that, *to hold prisoners*. Kids stories like fairy tales talk about dungeons too. Of course this setting *can* be used in a sexual way, if that is your kink, but so can a nursery, a police station or a swimming pool.

If not BDSM surely extreme violence?

It doesn't matter if it's "sexual" or not. This is from the Linden definition of "Adult":

"Representations of intensely violent acts, whether or not photo-realistic (for example, depicting death, torture, dismemberment or other severe bodily harm)"

There is only one way to interpret that: If anyone sits on any of the devices, it's a violation.

If Linden still says that it's OK, would that mean that a SexGen bed on a PG land is OK as long as nobody sits on it?

This clearly shows how stupid this entire "adult content" discussion is... When even Linden themselves don't understand the implications of it.

That was largely my point. If "Dungeon" is a banned word that can only be advertized on Adult land, then that sim CAN NOT be rated PG. They need to remove the NON-SEXUAL words like "Dungeon" from the filters or remove the word filtering entirely.

But there are a lot of adult things you can /have/ on a parcel or even /sell/ on a parcel as long as you don't /advertise/ them. Sex beds for example can be sold on PG land (I think, mature land for sure) but you can't put "sex" in the parcel description.

Yah, worrying about whether dungeon is in search is muddying the waters... search and content aren't that closely linked. The question is whether instruments of scripted torture and things like unlucky chairs can be on PG or Mature land.

Do remember people, sex and BDSM is not the first thing to come into normal peoples minds when you say the word dungeon.

Believe it or not cages, stocks and wall shackles were once actually used to hold prisoners.

Unless of course these items had 2 player poseballs or "sexual impalement" devices, they aren't any more sexual than a bed is without poseballs.

To those of you still talking about this being a "Sexual" issue - read Kelderek Kilda's post at the top of page 5. It is "Adult" because it depicts "Torture" - doesn't need to be "sexual" at all to fall under the "Adult Content" aegis.

Nothing sexual or intensely violent, because intense violence is adult content too.

I've been there, I know there's nothing shocking there.

My comment was about Blondin's response that it's not adult because there's nothing sexual there. Assuming the Adult Content policy is not only about sex, that should read nothing sexual or intensely violent.
