It's a clone of Castle Valeria.
I'm almost sure I mentioned the thing having a dungeon - a while back.

It's got cages, stocks, a whipping post and some dread device with spikes that press down on a poor avatar from above.

The 'secret' door to the dungeon is a bookcase that slides aside when clicked.

Yeah, it's funny, but still ... I would think folks engaged in such activities would be genuinely delighted, not snarkily delighted, to see LL so publicizing their acceptance that these activities are valid in SL. The most I would ask them to do is post a sign stating that this build is for Mature and Adult regions only - for someone from that community to AR it seems, IMHO, kinda cutting off one's own nose.

Now that, I assume would be something to be done on only Adult rated land?

Yes, but the Castle Valeria Infohub is rated Mature. as long as they don't "Advertize" the dungeon as a feature of teh Infohub, it is marginally within the TOS. Though it could certainly be argued that the entire infohub sim is a "Public Space".

The "Baronial Castle" display model of the same sim is rated PG, in direct violation of TOS and CS for providing Adult Content on a PG SIM.

The Castle Valeria Infohub was built by Linden Lab. Baronial Castle is a prim for prim copy of that sim and everything in it. As in, they copied the sim backup of Castle Valeria to another server and renamed it.

That's the page with the definitions of the PG, Mature, and Adult ratings.
The edit date says 9 Jun 09.

Does anyone have a copy of the previous version to compare to and see what was changed?

Yeah well I watched an episode of Family Guy last night where Stewie gunned down Louis with a machine gun and there was plenty of blood. I think we have already established that SLs ideas of PG, Mature, and Adult are very skewed to the direction of ultra conservative.

Yes but this thread is about people overreacting and ARing LL assuming BDSM when there is no good reason to. I am pretty sure LL will have carefully avoided stocking said dungeon using equipment that can only be used for BDSM purposes and not historically torture type devices.
Nothing I have read in this thread yet says without any doubts that a BDSM theme has been established in the LL dungeon.

Yes, but torture is a mature theme whether it is BDSM or not.

Just had a quick peek. It's nothing that scandalous. The only thing which is mildly suggestive is the leash wall anchor labeled, "Naughty!" The others are labeled "Punished!" and "Chained!" All perfectly vanilla. :rolleyes:

Well, what does surprise and shock me are the prim seams showing and misaligned textures.
