Do You Find Other Avatars Who Look Like Yours?

I knew exactly how I wanted to look as soon as I joined SL. All I have done over the 15 months is make minor adjustments so I get nearer to that look I've always wanted. At the very beginning I selected the 'girl next door' avatar and made small tweaks to get a trimmer, more athletic figure. I used the CS Malibu free skin at first but for a long time now I've had another CS skin with darker, more defined eyebrows. I have always had long, straight brown hair that I wear in one of three ways - loose flexi, ponytail flexi or a tight bun at the back. I did my own hairstyles.

My av is consistent, only changing clothes and hairstyles. The only exception is a green shiny plastic bear costume I wear occasionally. But it's still me inside, dressed in my undies and feeling very hot and stuffy.

There is an alt employed by my RL, just a boring testbot which I think takes the form of a silver ball of about 1 metre diameter.

I have seen other avs that look a bit like me as I'm not unusual looking, but I've never met anyone who looks like a twin of me.

I've never seen anyone who looks remotely like me, which is especially strange since I wear a full-perms skin with no discernible creator which was given to me early on. (I suspect it was once a retail item which was unfortunately "liberated" into the current full-perms version by some kind of bug or exploit, but with no creator I have no way of letting anyone know or offering to pay. And the person who gave it to me is a content creator of high ethical standards who can't remember where she got it either, so another dead end.)

Maybe it's because it's more of the "cartoon-y" look I favor, and not the more photorealistic look so popular these days. The shape I just twiddled together myself, and even though I don't recall my measured height I'm definitely more of a "six foot something" than a "seven foot something", so there's that too.

No one but my alt, who uses the same shape and skin. Though, she is a blonde where I am a dark red head and just the hair alone made me do a double take a few times as to if it was the same shape or not. I spent a lot of time working on my shape, and even though someone told me I had a fat Av once, its staying as it is finally. *grumbles and throws the prim cookies away*

I've never tried making an alt look like Okiphia Rayna.. nor Okiphia Anatine.. nor Kaddaj Vita.. they all just sorta happened.

Never met anyone that looks like Oki Rayna. Ever. Her shape was completely made by me.. wait no. started as a Freebie shape called Tiffany, though almost none of it remains. Maybe width and thickness or something.

Her hair is readily available, and changes often. I ave 4 or 5 I switch between. I have one skin I commonly wear, and a neko skin I go to sometimes, with a neko version of my normal shape (Shorter, a little thicker.. thats about it), and hair and ears and tails for the neko version. Her eyes were made by me, normally just red eyes, sometimes a blue/green swirl.

Her clothes change quite often, most from DE Designs, Awesome Designs, and BareRose.

Okiphia Anatine is pretty regular for a cat. He started as a black luskwood cat avatar, and I changed the shape to make him more human-sized. I colored his white hair dark red, and made him a bit buffer too.

He has leather pants.. I don't remember where from, and spiked gauntlets and boots from Spider Productions. I think maybe a belt too. I have yet to see one who looks JUST like him, but its easy to look similar with a furry that hasn't been changed much.

At the Hangout last night, found someone who looked almost exactly like Kaddaj Vita, even the outfit. Was odd.. to see him dancing on the cieling while I wasn't on him lol.

Kaddaj Vita has a freebie goth skin, so he is like... pure white lol. He has a goatee, and long black hair. His clothes are all from Bare Rose.. and his normal one is the Phantom or w/e they call it..

I can assure you there is no avatar in SL that looks like me. Besides being 5'3" tall I don't wear bling, use an AO or dress in black.

I tend to wear the same AV all the time, and just change it bit by bit.
