I have disabilities including mild form of Autism I have at times briefly and openly have discussed here but I don't use them as excuses or to manipulate others I hope. I don't care what others think about it either. I think there a lot of people who assume everyone is same and I think it's a form of prejudice. There is a lot of people in Secoond Life with disabilities and no we aren't going to hide under a rock either Porky. Yet same time it shouldn't be used as excuse either in my opinion. I don't care who knows but it can be used against you too, that is why I trust very few people and keep my friendships to minimum but I have made my mistakes. Things are hard for content makers here regardless of who you are, and it isn't easy to run a business and make it profitable whether you have disability or not. In fact having a disability from personal experience often works against the content maker because often we are forced to work with less. One things I tell the OP everyone has opinions here, some are down right annoying, people assume the worse about others here, and when they aren't doing that they are complaining. That includes myself sometimes, with the complaining, etc but I try to be nice to everyone 80 percent of the time. Yet there is good people here too.

Let's put the easy-garment-creation like this: There are sites outside SL where one can aquire ready-to-go textures for clothes. Those textures aren't designed for SL though, but for some other programs, like other games and certain rendering software. I once looked into porting some of those clothes into SL, since there just isn't much that fits my tastes in SL (apart from Simone's). Pre-made textures Of Clothes Just need a weeeeeeee little bit of resizing and re-cutting
Ok, how this turned out, resizing and recutting being the simplest tasks one can think of in Photoshop. -It took about an hour to resize a shirt properly. No, not just properly: perfectly -> upload texture, create shirt, add texture, wear it -> Horrible seamlines (thank god, just color difference) all over, it looked just bad, details were shaped odd.
-During resizing, colors and details on an image get changed as well
Okay, so I went back to Photoshop. Good thing I still had the PSD of the resized/recut garment. So next step: re-texturing. Oh yeah, I had to basically re-pixel half the garment to make the seams disappear, make details fit the SL wireframe model better, color ballance for shades and hues. So I spent just about 3 more hours to fix all those things.
4 hours to make a shirt, cheating since I had a headstart, I can't say the end result was that great, though I've seen worse things in shops. But I wore it for only a few minutes, then decided it wasn't exactly the thing I was hoping for either. Project ended, lol.
But, to be fair, I'm not a Photoshop artist. Never have been. So I'll just stick to my building and scripting.

From: Pserendipity Daniels Nevertheless, as you can see from Porky's posts, you certainly don't need to be able to type accurately, spell or punctuate correctly to participate here.
Pep (You definitely don't need to be honest or sincere, so you can stop that right away) I'd deliberatlyed misstpell and pisspronounciate to annoy anal twats like you. Now go away and come back when you have something relevant to post.

I hope you don't mind my saying this Pyrite, but I think that it might save you some future hassle.
You have posted quite a few posts asking how to do things. I think you are looking for a way to earn money very quickly and easily. Ideally, without having to learn much or wait any length of time.
Second Life is very like real life. People will not just buy any old thing, see. They expect quality, originality and value for money. To offer them that you need a few essental things...
Firstly - skills. Either some you already have, like being good with Photoshop or an ace with sound files for example, or some you can learn - like building with prims. Learning takes time though. The less previous experience you have, the longer it will probably take you to get to a marketable standard.
Secondly - ideas - there is no product that we can say 'make X and you will earn money'. Sure, lots of people buy clothes for example, but you will be competing against professional standard graphics artists. Animations are popular, but you will be up against people who have access to muti-thousand dollar mocap software etc.
I am not saying you can't do it! Heh if I can earn a living here, anyone can! I am saying that it takes time and effort. The more you put in, the more likely you are to succeed, see?
I would recommend that you stop trying to find the magic money-spinner for now, get out there and see what is around, explore, discover - ENJOY! Get to know how Second Life works, that way you may well see gaps in the market! Learn the skills you need - play with prims, pootle about with textures, attend classes etc.
And above all - have fun!!! If one day you start making things that people want to buy, they HURRAH! If not, well, you will have had a lot of good memories, learnt some new tricks and enjoyed your Second Life.
Good luck to you in whatever you do - and please try to remember the bit about having fun, I am not the wisest person, but i know that is GOOD advice, hehe
