A competent company would likely kill everything (else) you hold dear in SL...

Sometimes I wish for a quick painless end rather than the slow , strangulation LL is doing to it.

A Stable Grid w/ a more articulated Avatar Mesh where each body part can be adjusted accordingly.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

If you found a lamp on your SL land and rubbed it and out came a Linden that would grant you 1 wish in SL. What would that wish be? Fast forward over over all the wish for a zillion wishes nonsense. The constraint is that it must be within the power of a linden to do.
llTeleportAgent, implemented just the way I want it first time around. I would dance with joy!

Everyone please go to http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-11118 and rub the lamp.

A number of people have told me that this was already fixed. They were lying, weren't they?

I would give up my Bay City Rollers request if they would have the capability of importing WRL files directly and successfully into SL.

Since it will never happen, I'm sticking with my first request, and you'll be invited to the first party.

Oh, and free land, you only pay for prims. I'd like a big island just to terraform and make beaches, coves, etc.. oh, and trees and fish can't count as prims :D

It was set as "Resolved" on the jira so I reopened it and Soft popped up and politely told me 'please don't change anything from "fix pending" to "fixed" ' which isn't what I had done, and he set it to "Fix Pending." Of course perhaps he wasn't speaking to me at all.

That's all I can tell you.

Answer #2 (for Zindra residents): that's not a lamp.

Only a Friday thread in that it was started on Friday. A true "Friday" thread isn't started on purpose. It is started as a very serious thread. Usually it involves threats of lawsuits, insults to various groups, and a desire by the OP to ignore any and all rational advice given them. Add points if: Goreans, furries, vampires, Americans, Euros, the religious or Brenda's panties are mentioned.

Well, we do nto want to encourage the forum regulars to poke at new comers once a week. This is a nicer, kinder Friday Thread tradition.

You've just mentioned all of those point gathering items. However, -1000000 points for explaining what a Friday thread is.

Friday threads aren't always started by newbies, and the starter is almost always the first to poke.

You know you love me.

And I am not now nor have I ever been a "Queen". King, Lord High Protector, Emperor, or Illustrious Potentate would all work.

I rubbed the lamp, but got a pop-up that said, 'Despite our best efforts....'

Find a box of tissue and a tube of lotion before you start rubbing. Just saying......

First thought was a million L$ but then maybe because I saw the word millions in your post.

I wouldn't actually ask that. I might wish it, sure...

I might wish for an island, too. But why should I get one when others pay.

So I'd ask, please let us all know what is on board for next year this time. Are the kids coming in? Some people seem to hear somethign in the wind, but I'm not one of them.

Because I'd like a viable business plan, so I can do what I like in SL as far as owning/building, without hemorrhaging real money. But not actually having been in SL for long, it's a bit hard to know what that is. There is sooo much for me to catch up on, technically alone.
