I am NOT, absolutely, positively NOT going to help you potty train your spaceship!

That's ok. I got Lil for that.

I'd prefer the "Money for Nothing" option. Pep (An 80's allusion.) PS My situation might be bad but I am not in dire straits. That is a BAD allusion. Next you'll be telling me that Isnt It Ironic IS irnoic when its really coincidence, _____________________

Even when her name is correctly spelled she is still the "Debbie Gibson of Canada". Diva of not so many malls, I presume? And what do you think of her taking US citizenship? Turncoat?

Pep (Mark Knopfler makes Mr Freeze look sweaty.) Oh puh-leaze! Morissette was/is way edgier than Gibson. And half of the music written and played (mostly the "good" half) by women rock performers today wouldn't have been possible without "Jagged Little Pill." I don't much care about her citizenship (she's retained her Canadian citizenship too); I'm not much of a "patriot" in the conventional sense. (Mark Knopfler is pretty cool too) _____________________

"women rock performers" - an oxymoronic phrase: discuss. Pep (Just a different type of dressing up dolls.) Uhhhh. Patti Smith? Chrissie Hynde? Janis Joplin, fgs. I can easily go on: that's just off the top of my head. _____________________

I've heard of subbie nekos, cowgirls, piggirls, ponygirls, puppygirls, but I have never heard of chicken-girls. http://a0.vox.com/6a00c22522e470549d0100a7e94d80000e-500pi |

PJ Harvey, Liz Phair, Courtney Love, Grace Slick, Annie Lennox, Laurie Anderson . . . Pep (Would you really consider Dylan's music as "rock"?) PS I suppose Morissette might be considered edgy in Canada where Neil Young is seen as a wild man . . . _____________________

PJ Harvey, Liz Phair, Courtney Love, Grace Slick, Annie Lennox, Laurie Anderson . . . No Leta Ford? Ann and Nancy Wilson? The two women singers that can make me just melt in an orgasmic puddle with their voices are Annie Lennox and Nancy Wilson. Considering their voices are so different it must have something to do with how they use their voice and not just because of the voice they were born with. _____________________

My list was by no means exhaustive: just some personal favourites that came immediately to mind. Debbie Harry should be there too, and probably Joan Jett. Also maybe Johnette Napolitano. In fact (and Pep will have a field day with this one), I'd even include Avril Lavigne, on the strength of her second album (the first one just showed promise, and the third was a major disappointment). I concur entirely about Lennox, especially when she'd moved a bit beyond the electropop thing, and into a more bluesy sound. _____________________

I never had the sound on, as I thought it might distract me.) _____________________

Electropop? Blues? No rock then. Do you seriously want to insist that this doesn't rock? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pqoGXuNuu8 Or are you just trying to egg me on? (That was for you, Diane )_____________________
