It's finally winter in Arizona (I think it got down to 65 today) and I want to dress it! Where are the cutest winter/fall stuff, like jeans, turtlenecks, and boots?

Not sure about turtlenecks per se', but for some nice sweaters (they come with skirts but you can always leave the skirt in the closet) check out "One Soul".

Oryx, to really get into the winter spirit, you need to join the Polar Bear Club.

Take off all your clothes and jump in a frozen body of water. (knock holes in the ice first)

You can send all pictures of said event to ................

I prefer Launa Fauna's jeans. Casa del Shai has some nice turtlenecks, as does Tres Blah. Not sure what kind of boots you're looking for, but it's difficult to go wrong with Shiny Things.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

There are some very nice fall sweaters, ladies business suits, and other stuff at Luminosity (Luminous Island 82,116,31). All quality crafted and charming. I even forgive her for having a butterfly collection.

Boots? I don't know. I don't even wear shoes much since there is some kind of glitch in Second Life that prohibits shoes and boots being made without stiletto heels.

Stellar Designs if you want a sweater that isn't form-fitting (sculptie bottom on it).

Cute jeans - I have a jean/jacket set from French Spirit that I like.

Nastay jeans - FORM femme.

The men's turtlenecks at Armidi are also quite nice, and the shading is pretty unisex.

What about boots that have a sock option, for wearing under pants? The only ones I've seen are at DE Designs but I didn't want the studs or tribal look...

65 - yes, I hate you too. We haven't gotten out of the 20's for a few days and nights are already in the single digits.

/me buying the winter stuff also.

I usually just leave the calf prims off...wear the shoe form and the foot part only.

Dang, I wish we HAD some snow here in Germany....

And Oryx-that sig is really disturbing. That was my 19th birthday. Tapeworm, eh? :D

And I've been doing the "leave calf prims off" thing ever since I had my first pair of frayed jeans...as long as they're, well, long enough, it looks perfectly alright.

Simones has a set of really nice cowl neck sweaters in about 6 or 7 nice winter colors. And she's having a great sale until the end of the month. You have to go to the building for casual clothes to find them.

There are so many places that have nice jeans I would just type Jeans in the search thingy and visit a few stores. I don't think you can go wrong with any actually. Sweaters I'm not sure about. As far as boots are concerned I would try Minx. They have gorgeous boots and have a great selection.

I love minx shoes and boots!!

which reminds me I should put out more yardsale stuff (I have an overflowing inventory that I rarely if ever use, things like simone, minx, awesome, dazzle, bare rose, and others I can not recall off hand

ever since making my own stuff, I rarely wear the others I have, only a few select favorites

I have a really bad feeling that I'm going to go broke by sunday. I already bought cute stuff at Shiny Things, Casa del Shai, Marlys, and some other places. I'll definitely check out these other ones mentioned too. Whee! Seasonal shopping kicks ass.

And at 65, I'm bundled up in 2 shirts, my flannel lounge pants, and my fuzzy slippers. I'm a big puss, what can I say. I bet I can outlast any of y'all at 117 though. :p

I'm confused, are you 65yrs old or is it 65°F? If you get to be 117yrs old, yes you will probably have outlived us all!
Not to be outdone, I'm 38 and it was 21° here, today.

For warm boots, I love my "Ugh"s from Jeepers Creepers.

I know what you mean Oryx. This cold snap in Arizona has me wanting to finally go buy warm SL clothes! Instead I bought new RL patio furniture... and now I am going to go outside and enjoy it. :)

edit: 117! Easy as pie...

FD has come out with some really nice turtle necks! i got the purple one ^_^!
also One Soul formerly known as Emily's Fashions has a nice sweater set(yes like Joe said, you may wanna not wear the skirt)in black and white that pairs up nicely with jeans.
Sweater Girl is another good place as well.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

LOL nah the temp outside was around 65 today. Brrr!

I think we didn't get over 117 this year here. I've lived in Kuwait though, where it was 135 degrees and 80% humidity. Now THAT is disgusting. :(
