From: VooDoo Projects I am not one to accept wrong doings 'because the bureaucrat said so'. Linden Lab owes the Mentors the same courtesy they extended to the adfarmers. When adfarmers did not comply with the October 1st deadline they were sent a personal e-mail from Linden Lab and given an extention to comply.
Linden Lab needs to send a e-mail to all of the mentors they kicked out and offer them the opportunity to comply. This double stamdard needs to be rectified immediately. no Linden Lab dont. u Voluntered to help. they dont need ya why should they waste time sending out emails when the grid ALWAYS needs tweaking. one doesnt need a tag to help. ex volunteeers should be judged on what they do AFTER the foot in thier crax and i'm gonna watch em.

I have never been an official Linden mentor nor ever intend to be. I share my interpretation of things as I see them and frequently help new and old friends with anything and everything I can including making video tutorials ( http://imohax.blip.tv) for Second Life and OpenSim. I guess my point is. I sincerely hope those removed from the official mentoring program don't for a second think they are unappreciated by anyone that matters nor consider leaving Second Life for that reason. Besides, there will be so much more than Second Life to help with as the 3D internet emerges. Keep in mind that almost all the skills you teach directly translate to OpenSim and the many wonderful worlds being built on it that have NOTHING to do with Linden Labs. Thanks mentors and to Linden for giving us SL in the first place. Now it is time to move on. |
