ummm, 'Secondlife' works for me. Changing it to Happyland or Toonworld or some other name just sounds like it would strip it of its original identity. Meet you in 'SL'? Sure, I say it all the time.

Or perhaps Pangea or maybe Tangentia?

I am more inclined to call it "Dunkerton" after my hometown in Iowa. That's just me though.

Seriously though, I think just calling it SL is fine. If I have to learn a new name, I will go nutz!

I don't know as the world needs a name. When there's only one, people tend not to need names. But there are multiple continents now, so we need names for those.

If LL eventually implements other regions one can get to that are not connected to the existing contentents, but require teleports or rockets or something to get to (which I hope they will, someday), then we'd need to give the existing group of continents a name. Until then, the "universe" name, Second Life, will suffice.
