Stringent enforcement of PG standards within so-called any prosecutable "private" spaces to be maintain by a group using every camera trick possible so as to provide maximum rule enforcement.

Taxes, religious fanatacism, star chamber proceedings, free pacifiers for every baby, and required public schooling of no less than 12 hours in the newbie zone for every Second Life resident.

The Lindens are all the goverment that's needed, if it isn't broke don't fix it.

To leave me alone in my pursuit of happiness in "MY" Second Life the way "I" invison it, not someone else.

andrew linden points out there is a commons in sl.

residents have what is theirs, and there is the commons.

the policies regarding the commons changes, with resident input. while this may or may not be government, it gives the lie to the notion that individuals can do things in isolation without affecting the commons or being affecte by the commons. that is to say "leave me alone" doesn't quite work. a more realistic position of "bother me as little possible" might make more sense. structuring limits on how decisions about the commons affects the residents might be fruitful. might not.

My reference is in regards to a game-wide player run government which is what I perceive the spirit of this thread to be in which case "leave me alone" works just fine.

I want SL government to crush all who oppose or annoy me!

Or I want pecan pie. I'd really prefer pie.

I want a government to round up and assassinate anyone who mentions Plato, Rousseau, Hobbes, or pecan pie.

I want Second Life to be at the leading edge of virtual community in the twenty-first century.
