From: Jamie Bergman Yes, the avatar formerly known as Merwan Marker is stepping down as the head of Awakening Avatars and various other philanthropies in the next couple of days.
Merwan was one of the first (and most significant) contributors to SL and he will be sorely missed by those of us who knew him.
He will be immersing himself in other, development stage MMORGs.
I wish Merwan the best in whatever endeavors he undertakes next.

To update - I am back to planning with Mercurious for our SL wedding - after being being absent for too long - and am looking forward to our continued life together. We're look forward to our zebra babies...
