Any thread begun with the intention of discussing the legitimacy of the resmod system will be immediately moved to the "Volunteers" program, where (a) no one will look and (b) it will be subsumed into the very forum whose legitimacy is being questioned in the first place, thus automatically giving the system legitimacy the thread never intended to give.
This thread was not made with the intention of discussing the resmod system in any way.

I think it's way past fair to say that LL knows how people feel about this issue as it has been discussed non stop since its inception. They obviously don't care what we think about it so I think its about time for people to quit beating the dead horse because it's gotten old. There is nothing I have seen recently that hasn't been said since day one and it is just trolling as it stands now.
Could someone please start some new drama so people can quit talking about the res mod crap. _____________________

I have a suggestion for those who are tired of reading about the resmods. Don't read it if it bothers you, or you're just adding to the drama when you scold people for talking about it, otherwise, you're just trying to control other's speech. Well Nolan, if there was a way to block thread topics that mentioned certain things I would. As it stands lately, I can hit New Posts and see 8 or more threads on the same damn topic. I guess I'm the only one that hates listening to a broken record *shrug* _____________________

It certainly was. Too bad - it was a public service message that would have prevented the posting of even more threads to discuss the resmod issue, and saved them lots of trouble moving threads.

Way to totally avoid the point though, which is, if you don't like it, don't read it. Otherwise you're just trying to police other's speech, it's really that simple. It would be one thing if that speech was outside the boundaries of the CS, ToS, or Forum Guidelines, but it's not. It's so highly ironic to voice dislike or disinterest in something, yet insist on talking about it. _____________________
