Wait...okay, if I think clubs are a yawn, am I cool or not? I've lost track.

Clubs are what you make of them. If you think clubs are boring, you might want to check the mirror. The game provides very basic sensory perception. You either like to look at things (and show your things off) or you like to talk to people (as far as socialization goes). Heavy lag is the main reason people dislike clubs, and it's simply a matter of poor prim management. "Conceptual simplicity, structural complexity-" the unspoken principle by which all technological companies work under does not apply to SL, because the structure negatively effects the concept (i.e. structural complexity gives way to greater bandwidth requirements which gives way to lag). The motto of SL should be "structural simplicity, conceptual complexity." Invest your time in better textures, less prims. Right now this game, for the builder, is a lesson in architectural simplicity.

Those people who listed 'hating clubs' did it because they have a desperate need to run with the 'cool' set, and nothing more.Dont you find the fact that one of them actually OWNS a club laughable? that this persons ENTIRE business is geared on making clothes for the very same people she defames as geeks for clubbing?

i don't like clubs. all i do when i go there is lag. and i definitely don't like clubs in my sim, them my sim lags.

but more power to the people who like clubs. a large percentage of my friends either run clubs or like going to clubs. so i don't think liking/disliking clubs cateogorizes people as cool or geekish, or worthy or unworthy.

Everyone else is a necessary evil

I want all of the money so everybody should buy only what I sell and sit for hours on my land. Some people should randomly give me money while they stand on my land. Everything should be free for me, and I should get paid whenever I'm online -- more when not (since I am not actually enjoying SL when I'm offline and I that should be worth something. Plus I should get a refund for the bandwidth I paid for but I'm not using ...).
Everybody should be nice to me as long as I am happy -- or sad -- or feel or act in any way -- or do nothing.
I should own everything that anyone pays for.

;P
