I am in complete agreement with optional breathing/foot shadows for reasons already listed multiple times. I'm neutral to tool tips (but I don't play tringo). However, I would concede that having an option is better than not. :)

I endorse both of these fine suggestions.

Feet shadows... are usualy above the feet... why? This seems like a bug, its been around since like 1.1.

Breathing... ugh... ugh ugh UGH. Just make llStopAnimation("breathe_rot";) work and I'll be a happy camper. How long has it been now since we've been asking for something to turn off breathing? Hell it can be client side, I don't care, GIVE ME ANYTHING.

OKAY! I'm bringing this thread back to life because you all need to vote on Prop 234!! We want the option to turn off foot shadows yay! Vote!! Get your friends to vote!! I just thought about this again when my shadows followed me onto a piece of furniture lol. I have a lying down animation where your legs swing back and forth and the shadows were around the ankles in the air :O.

I HAD to go vote on this one, but for anyone else ... its much faster to "search" the proposal than try to just look for it like I did ... what an idiot.

I was doing a search.

If you wanna, you can post your pictures of UFSS (Ugly Foot Shadow Syndrome) here:

Necroposter!

Though this is still an issue, these features still suck and we still want rid of them. So, um, well done on the necroposting in this instance. Just don't make a habit of it! *narrows eyes*

This is what I view as a pleasant redundancy, because things CAN change, Kris. I know they can... we gotta have faith... we gotta keep going. If little things like this can be fixed, then there's a lot more hope for the big picture.

I hear my fellow Resis telling me how much the foot shadows annoy them... how they wish there was even a toggle in Debug to turn them OFF! How useful it'd be for photo shoots, and general aesthetics, and other things...

We must continue on, press the door, keep pressing until we all burst in! And then THE SUN WILL SHINE BRIGHTLY—BUT THERE WILL BE NO MORE UGLY FOOT SHADOWS!!! :D

I agree about tooltips, foot shadows, and the breathing.

The tool text does not appear to be affected by the colors.ini file like it is supposed to be and presumably was before they added the gray tint around the chat and screwed up the chat text colors.

Moving the camera when entering edit mode would be nice to see gone.

One is supposed to be able to delete multiple inventory items but it frequently fails. In many cases in which someone says they'd like to do this or that, they have followed the directions correctly but the program does not perform as intended. Multiple inventory deletes is one of these cases. It just failed for me now inworld, about half the seemingly deleted objects returned.

The monthly debiting of my Visa card account is one feature I would like to see optional. Making this feature optional would probably be especially popular with those who own large plots of land or entire sims.

You can stop the camera moving on edit in prefs > input/camera and disable "automatic edit camera movement"

Hover over object tooltips can be disabled by clicking the view and hover tips or ctrl-shift-t

Edit mode still decides to shift your camera when you scale an object, espicially one that's really small. I find build mode dissatasfying in general.
