Extra skin layer

I'm all for feature updates like this, but let's not forget about the skin slider features that are still a big part of avatar customization, especially for noobs! An extra skin layer will have to be layered so that these features still work, otherwise it is counterintuitive to all that has been implemented so far. It would be a wise approach from a developers standpoint not to reinvent the wheel.

Adding an additional texture layer to skins so that people who wear custom skins can still apply their own tattoos (regardless of the permissions set on the skin) has been added to the proposals list. It's prop 216. Feel free to throw it some votes Generalized texutre layers for clothing is already doing very well in the standings but there's a good chance it can be intepreted as only applying to clothing layers, not skin.
