Instead of downloading the full installation file each time there is an update, why LL don't make an installation containing only the modified files???

"Why do LL not release patches rather than full new versions?" is one of those eternal questions that will seemingly never be answered, like "why am I still doing this stupid job if I hate it?" and "how is it fair that red wine causes worse hangovers than white?"

More helpfully perhaps, it might be that the SL client is such a relatively small download compared to most systems that it's not considered worth the effort of making a patch.

And yet they must be blowing a lot of cash on having so many new clients released, I mean it's getting annoying, any extra time waiting for yet another version to download, even if it's a mere 10 minutes, is time that should be available to spend in the game. It's bad enough that they have to take the grid down for 8 hours every time they change a variable in the simulator code.

Pathing makes perfect sense with the amount of crap and bugs we've been getting constantly since v1.8
