What would be great is if we didn't have to down load the game over and over and over again, I know the game isn't that big, but still wouldn't it be more effective and do it like every other game on the market and patch the game and not have your users download the full game again?

This complaint shows up every Update Wednesday. Try WoW, their patches are over three times ours, sometimes reaching into the Gigabyte range.
All we download is the viewer, no graphics, no objects, nothing--just the viewer. Do you complain about having to download a new version of Internet Explorer, FireFox, Microsoft Office eveytime they update? No? I didn't think so.
You ARE downloading just a patch in essence. You're not downloading the whole grid or a whole sim worth of objects and textures. No, that's what you do everytime you log in or teleport, updating? Just the GUI.
