It seems there are a variety of people in SL, I am curious to know the majority of the personalities we have in SL.

So what are you, and feel free to post why.

I am the nice, friendly, mischevious, fun loving dork because... I like to have fun, and dork around... and I am friendly with it

I'd say I am more like a Chameleon

I am amazed no one honstly picked "Follower" yet... hmm maybe they are still sleeping?

I'm kind of a loner - I just sort of like to create stuff and when I'm at events I like to watch more than talk, but I'm not a completely quiet person either. I tend to blend into the wood work until provoked (provocation being either good or bad).

If I think a person has a good idea, I'll participate (follow) but as a rule I tend to go off and do things on my own.

I would say I'm a leader (but certainly NOT the description you give). A Leader isn't someone that merely says I'm right, and you can say nothing to change me. A true Leader is capable of listening and if need be, changing. Holding onto a belief that is proved to be flawed, merely because you consider yourself a strong leader is foolish.

Also a good leader knows when to lead, and when to let others lead. Someone who can step aside and not have his/her ego bruised. Someone that can encourage others as they lead, and do what is necessary to make them successful.

A good leader knows when to speak publicly and when to speak in confidence. A good leader won't break a person's confidence, unless that person is planning on hurting themselves or others. A good leader knows it's better to be hated by a living friend, then to be liked by a dead friend.

I could go on and on and on if you like. But, as you see, your description of a leader is not even close to what a true leader is like.

Occasionally I'll dabble in drama but I usually stay the heck out of it. I figure, even if I'm, in fact, 100% correct about IssueX or CrisisY, the chances of convincing the other side (either through logic or logical fallicies) is about 0%. How often do you see one of those bickerthreads ending with a post like "Golly, you're right. I never thought of it that way. Sorry 'bout calling you a #^(*head..."

I also am a helper to of sorts. If someone needs help, and I can help them, I love to do so..... I feel its a duty of sorts to pass the tradition so to speek. But then again, that too is also an aspect of being a friend I suppose......

I agree with you for the most part.. but unfortunatley you are only allowed one line to describe.

Level headed mediator. I hate drama and love peace and peaceful resolutions. But I can't dance, and that pretty much nullifies anything else

I would like to try and describe my personality to the best of my ability... there are alot of people that do not actually KNOW me but have judged me due to my forum posts, which is fine and thier choice...
I have many friends in SL and in the real world, I always do my best to be there for my friends... mentally, physically, emotionally, financially... whatever the case may be...

But I do have what one would call a "bitchy attitude". I will tell someone I don't like what they are doing, or what they have said, with out another thought in mind... this of course has it's pros and cons, there are some people who admire my honesty, and some people that are offended by it and hate it. I have learned through my 27 years, that I am happy to be me, and I wouldn't want to change anything about me (except maybe have softer hair and more relaxed curls lol). As one of my favorite quotes, "The biggest failure in life, is trying to please everyone."

I am not a hateful person.. I do not dislike people I do not agree with, I guess I just don't take it personal, however there are people that do, and again that is thier choice.

A few great examples of me..

The thread that involved Chance Small still being alive... Chance and I are not "close" friends, we do not speak on a daily basis, nor do I know much about him outside of the game, but I walked into a thread and defended him while he was being attacked by 20 other people... I knew that the attacks would then go towards me, did I care? NO! I wiill fight for what I believe in, even if it buries me.

One day I was driving down Federal Blvd here in Colorado, there were 2 middle aged men out in the freezing cold, with thier signs,asking for money and "will work for food"... I knew that giving them money wouldn't do much good since they more than likely would spend it on smokes and beer.. I didn't have any work for them to do either... so I couldn't think of anything at the time, and light turned green and I went on my merry way... here comes the next red light and at the corner there was a taco bell.. I turned in and bought a dozen tacps and a dozen burritos, went back in the opposite direction I was headed and delivered them to these 2 men. The look in there eyes were amazing, they were practically in tears... they thanked me and I went back to where I was headed.

I can go on forever defending my reasoning and my personality, but I hate typing and I don't think it is necessary. I often post in these forums when there is something said that I do not agree with, usually when there is a thread I agree with, someone has already said what I was wanting to say, so why bother? My point is, we are adults.. weall have our own personalities... I guess I just don't understand why people are so verbally hateful... what do they gain? I know that I am not innocent, I have called someone a jerk or an asshole before, and have later apologized for it.

Ok I am just rambling on now so I will say more when I get my words together lol
