From: Shiryu Musashi Mmmmh maybe the giant blimp shape of the Queen Emeraldas would be a lil more difficult to build Ah heck, I knew I was spelling that name wrong. I even did a quick search online first, and I was kind of surprised not to come up with more hits, but I found several with that spelling... all in French, should have been a clue.... Bleah. (Hangs head in shame, kicks self out of Matsumoto Leiji fanclub.) Regarding building the blimp, though, ShapeMaker ought to be able to do it.... Heck, I'd settle for Galaxy Express 999 touching down on my land. neko

I'd like to watch a whole fleet of gigantic ships from anime and more loom through the ominous skies, cast shadows as they may, and then touch down while troops stream out for the imminent invasion. Now, I suppose the whole coordination thing might throw logistics in the bind, but if we're going to be listing ships we'd like to see, I suspect Space Battleship Yamamoto would be a prime candidate as well. And what about Protoss Carriers?

@ Torley: YAMATO! not yamamoto, lol @ Nekokami: unfortunately the various Harlock series and their spin offs are not very famous outside of Japan, the only two countries in wich it has been very successful are italy and in fact france. Too bad, because Harlock is one of the best characters ever created...

yes the spaceship rebuilding is definitely top of my space pirate priority list but considering building something longer than 100 meter might be perilous, i am not sure that arcadia might be the best choice...
well i know its just a lego model but i liked this shape
i know how to make every segments stay in order, what i might be interested to know is how the prim use is handled with a non physical fortress moving across sims?

From: Nekokami Dragonfly I'd be truly honored to have the Arcadia parked in my skies at Arena. (Or the Queen Esmeralda, for that matter.) I can also be counted on to hide desperate space pirates on the run from foul, treacherous corrupt galactic police or other villains! Gamalons in exile welcome, no questions asked. Your generous proposition is noted Please remember that one 9x9 space station full of vehicles takes up to 2000 prims. Alright, the scripts for making mobile space stations / carriers / battleships are done and robust, visit the space station over the lake in Balance to forge your opinion (or take a look at the pics).

From: someone @ Torley: YAMATO! not yamamoto, lol *sings* you say yamato and i say yamamoto......let's call the whole thing off! i've been wringing my brain for a new building project and i think this thread has solved the problem. avast n' stuff.

ok the ship is pretty advanced i worked on it all the day and the night with my fellow right arm allan beckett
it has a pretty satisfying shape and is 90x 28 meters, with a docking zone for smaller ships, a decent engine, 4 spherical turrets and plenty of rooms inside
no screens yet , plywood isnt that appealing

Oh, hey, Ky posted on the forums about the RP idea I mentioned to her. And the ship. Interesting. So.. yeah.. I'm that Alan Beckett guy, don't frequent the forums much. Look for exciting new stuff coming from the TRUE Space Pirates here soon. Accept no imitations. Obey your thirst. Your thirst for... uh... piracy. Yes.
That is all.
