Anybody having troubles logging in?

Once again i been trying to log in for the past 15 min and it gets to the Contacting User Server and then it goes back to log in. Whats' the deal?

Having problems also. Got message twice that despite our best efforts something has gone wrong then the last attempt, Second Life crashed back to windows

i got in once quickly - then logged for an errand. No luck when i tried 15 minutes later. Freeze at prep inventory - i take my time waiting - waiting - waiting - thinking im queued and then pop - back to the log in page. Bad day for this

yes i am stuck again, not only can i not get in, my computer freezes at prep inv. I can't ctrl alt del, or quit, have to rebot each time =(

For me I wait and wait on preparing inventory then my internet connection crashes and I have to reset my modem.... :mad:

The same thing keeps happening to me over and over. I would prefer SL to just crash than have to reboot everytime I tried to connect to SecondLife. :(

Well it took me several minutes...It's really busy in world right now and probably a lot of people trying to log on. There was a message yesterday upon loggin in (after contacting region) that said they have gone to a que system...so...just sit and wait if you can, unfortunately many internet connections aren't set to wait as long as it takes. Also I noticed while trying to log in, usually the "preparing inventory" bar is kind of flashing and when it doesn't flash it usually means the game froze up and the only thing to do is close it out, but today it didn't flash I left it alone for about 7 minutes and it finally logged me in...major pain if you ever have to re-log though.

No luck after the patch. At least pre-1.5.12 I could get in after a wait. Now I just get dumped into the login screen.

It is not broken


You are not stuck at preparing inventory. You are in a que. LL did it that way to prevent the crashing that was occurring. Be patient and you will get in. If you quit and try again you are only screwing the system up more for yourself.
