Neg Rated by Grievers Alts

Weedy, I am sorry I posted about something I have no knowledge of. That was an unwise choice on my part. I was "stalked" in RL and it was a terrible ordeal, and your post
caught my eye for that reason. But, I understand that everyone's definition of that word can take different forms.

I do wish you luck on resolving this problem, hope that The Lindens do take some type of action, and you can play the game free of vindictive actions from others.

I for one wish the lindens would enforce the rules. When I first starting playing I thought the customer service here was great compared to some other MMORPG I have played.

I haven't had problems mentioned on the boards BUT it would be nice to know that if I did the code of conduct would be enforced. (So I don't cringe when somone offers to exhange cards)

SL has the least amount of griefers by far than any other game. And usually the griefers get bored and go away but after 6 months this one didn't.

6 months... maybe his meds need adjusting.

You are one of the AV's who negged me. You are unquestionably an alt of the offender.

Late at night, when I was alone in my condo which guaranteed was private, he brings his alts to have sex in open channel, so I would intentionally hear. Pretty desperate way of getting attention if you ask me. Now 5 months later you embark on this? Lame

The above thread might answer some of it.

The building was partially torn down. The offender was banned from then land. I was given permission to fix the building. The offender returned and deleted the rest of the building when he saw me fixing it. The following day, I helped to rebuild. The day after that, the offender and the owner reconciled. Then and only then was my rent returned.

NOBODY other than the offender and me would know that. It certainly was not mentioned in this thread and you put in the context of rent returned first, demolished later. That is not the order in which this happened.

Thank you for proving my case. If you are not an alt, you certainly have been cajoled into negging me and that is a violation of the TOS.

Anyway, I have read the whole thread and was trying to interject some light humor in the topic.

I understand what you meant and the whole point of the thread.
But sometimes with SL you have to take a step back and look at what is drama and is it really worth pursuing.

I could tell you oh so many stories from pre-live drama about SL that would make your head swim.
The point is this some people are asshats as I so eleoquently demonstrated with the post I made ((LOL yeah Im calling myself an asshat for posting the statment)).

But I got your attention and have been able to parlay this tid bit of advice Ban em/ignore em/ and dont let em rile you again. No point of drama is worth stress or any other aspect to ruin your in world experience.

LL is fixing the ratings thing so dismiss ratings all together and dont worry about what they have to say because your actions your deeds and your freinds speak for themselves about what kind of person you are.

I know your revered by one of my best friends so that speaks volumes to me about your charature.

Weedy, they are just neg ratings, ignore it and go on with your Second Life. By creating this thread and telling the same story over and over again, all it does is let these people know that they are getting to you and they will keep at it.

I dont seek sympathy, and I would have preferred to forget the whole thing (had done so for several months) then get subjected to this again because of TOS violation. It's not right.

I know who this guy is, Weedy, you have my sympathy. The thing is, this guy's whole life seems to be tied up in virtual reality. I don't know him very well, but it seems he moves from game to game and spends a lot of his time chasing women. He can be very crude and offensive to women. He's someone I've learned (through experience) to avoid.

My advice to you is pursue your complaints with Linden Lab and otherwise ignore this guy. You obviously have friends and a partner, in SL and in real life, so I think you're far better off than this guy is. And remember, what goes around comes around. Karma will get anybody who acts this way in the end.

Someone tell me this is not grieving?

It is more than griefing, it is stalking, and should result in a permanent ban of this asshole and all of his alts. It is a shame the Lindens seem to protect these buttwipes far more often then they take action on them.

The rule is there are no rules, at least for the Lindens. They need to make the decision to remove that ass from the game. They can and they should but for some reason they seem very timid in these situations. It seems the victim has less recourse that the criminal and stalker ass boy continues to grief even though the Lindies could stop this instantly at their discretion regardless of what the TOS or CS says.

Good luck with this Weedy, its not the negs that matter, its the idea that some turd is going out of their way to stink up your life. Your deserve justice and you have my sympathy.

Well, a stream of abuse reports have been sent back, the usual bot form stating "Issue Resolved" No parties have been banned, nor have negs been removed.

In these reports, I included evidence of attack by alts AND evidence of someone who was sent by the person in question.

So it's true, It's ok to rate attack with alts, slander and cajole others to neg rate too.

Doubt my evidence? Want to look at it? PM me.

Look on the bright side! In another 6 months all the negs will be gone and he'll have to spend lots of money giving them back to you!

Oh, and not to stick up for a previous poster, alt or no alt, but you cannot simply assume "You are unquestionably an alt of the offender" just because they know the situation. Don't you know anything about Second Life yet? The jungle drums in Second Life are THE most efficient anywhere. Hell, you can tell someone something in strictest confidence or do something thinking you're the only person for miles and the rest of the world knows within minutes! So sure, he might be an alt. But he might not. It certainly isnt 'unquestionable' though.
