From: someone I will seperate the island that holds the transport sytem and put it in a public group. That way all can see the amount of dwell received from that system. From this day forward, I will be sending you the dwell money received from that location and you can distribute it to a sl chairty or service project, because we understand how high that ranks on your list of priorities . BTW the amount of money I paid for the transport, it would probably take 5years of dwell to recoup my costs. I'm glad I got you to take some more responsible positions, given your sense of right-of-way right into the public domain. Why on earth do a couple of feted older players on some old land get to run a friggin' railroad that everybody has to use, giving dwell to their land? Huh? I mean, this is so friggin' obvious I don't know where to starty. So if you are now at least going to decouple from the dwell issue, great. That's silly to send me the dwell payments. Just let the Explorers' group itself collect them, so that they distribute equally to anyone who joins. That seems like a reasonable approach. Oh, your work and time weren't compensated? Well, could that have something to do with this whole attitude of how you have to do everything as a selfless donation all the time, and then not let anyone else charge? Putting $2 caps? I think these are related. Your notion that I am some caricature of a tycoon or land baron who cares nothing about charity or non-profit causes is taken totally out of your ass. You don't know me, you have no idea what I do in the game, so STFU yourself. I do plenty of non-profit and charitable donations in the game, but unlike you, I don't need a massive ego massage by showing them off to everyone. As for lobbying the Lindens, I never got an answer, are you or are you not talking to them? If you aren't lobbying the Lindens, oh, excuse me, I didn't know. But I heard the silence of the lambs on this at first.

Wait... wait, what? Who says that people have to use the railroad? I certainly don't. I have two perfectly decent flying machines, created from scratch by yours truly. I, for one, have never used the railroad. I prefer my own modes of transportation. In a game like SL, where public transit is strictly optional, and rather pointless in my opinion, nobody HAS to use anyone's railroad. |

You really are not reading the posts or you aren't as intelligent as I thought you were and seem to have things twisted in your head. So let me TRY and help you understand. I have answered you several times about the railroad. I will try again! 1. I didn't build the train or the railway! I don't own it or the land that it sits on. Over a year ago (before the new continent was even thought about), the railway was being built by the railroad group. When it came to Purple, I gave them land to run the railroad on. It originally went South towards Midnight City and a station that was built there. Plans changed at Midnight City and the sim was rebuilt, leaving the railroad ending in Purple. With the addition of the new continent, I was approached by the railroad group about changing the direction of the train and having it go north instead. I gladly gave them the land to do that. Other than that, I have nothing to do with the railroad. I DO NOT OWN THE LAND THE RAILROAD SITS ON, I DID NOT BUILD THE TRAIN NOR AM I A MEMBER OF THE GROUP THAT DOES! 2. Oh, your work and time weren't compensated? You were the one whining about the dwell and how much I was really going to make off of this. I was merely letting you know that I paid for the transport system that is there now and that it would take a hell of a long time to re-coup that based on dwell. But somehow you are still stuck on thinking I am talking about a train and railroad. This has nothing to do with the railroad, there is a transport system next to the railroad that will transport you to any sim in the new continent within minutes. 3.
