Keep it nice!
We attempted to keep the snow sims nice, now look at them. FOR SALE! FOR RENT! BIG ROTATING SIGNS! So much for keeping with a theme.
Must...try...something...new! See my suggestions in the other thread.

Linden Lab should have more of a clue about how to handle land around telehubs, really. Welcome area or no. Hoping this would set precedent.
