Scrapple. A true "mystery meat". Raw, it looks like dog food. As for what its made of, let's just say that when a trucker hits a steer on the highway, the stuff they pull out of the grille is probably turned into scrapple. Having said that, I can actually eat the stuff. My mother fed me and my brothers the stuff when we were little and ignorant. As an adult, I don't fry any myself. If someone else gives me some, I conveniently forget what its made of and eat it anyway.

I know that hotdogs and such are made from lips, rectums, esophogi, and such. I STILL like em.

BTW I usually buy veggie hot dogs when I get the urge to do a "dirty water dog" even though I am not a vegitarian simply because they generially taste better and I figgure it has to be better than the slaughter house sweepings hot dogs are made from.
My mom was raised on a farm back in the 40's and it was a normal thing for them to have "brains and eggs" for breakfast and she loved it. Calf brains and scrambled eggs; mmm mmm! For some reason now my mom gets queasy thinking about eating that now but as a kid, it was what was put in front of her at the table and she liked it. My grandmother used to tell about the indians up in Montana back when she moved there about 1910 or so to my mom. She said they would often have indians camp near their farm and her father and brothers would visit them on occasion and would say that they could eat things that would have killed them, or at least make them very very sick. She said they would pass up good meat for what my great grandparents considered carrion (which would be pretty bad by our standards cuz what they considered ok would go to the landfill today) |

![]() OMG, that is the most repulsive 'food' I have ever seen. ![]() That's just natto. What's the big deal? Fermented soybeans. Black tea is made from fermented tea leaves. What I don't understand is how people on Fear Factor (or anyone else) can eat brains and spinal cord. Uhhh... boiling does not destroy prion diseases (which are still infectious after being put in an autoclave). Not to mention that there are millions of nerve parts in meat too. Whatever, have fun with that . _____________________

I absolutely love the site, its reminding me more and more of why I never go out with my aunt anymore to dine at resturants, I swore I saw Cuitlacoche, the black fungus that infects corn on my mac and cheese,
next time I'm there I'm gonna kill the chef's YAY! ![]() _____________________
