I have to say, I am really glad that Prok imagined up these phrases. They really have colored the mindscape of SL into a much more vivid relief.
If you have the right pair of spectacles on... the kind that see groups everywhere they look, categorize people without getting to know them, and see injustice everywhere they gaze.

I don't know when it became wrong for for SLers to approach LL with ideas. In fact they encourage it. We all have equal access. You can even talk to a human being on the phone at LL or even email Robin, Phillip, etc. directly.

What is this with wanting LL to force the "tekkie wikis" to create this vague, as yet unidentified cure all product/concept that will give everyone jobs and entertain them too? Where is one stitch of proof, hard fact, that the more tech oriented SLers impede anything? It's all just 3 or 4 people trying to will it to be so with good old fashioned volume. We're all just supposed to look up at you with glazed eyes and agree with you like zombified animatronic work shop elves?

Welcome to Who(Hoover?)ville.

No one said that LL should do anything. Well, except fix bugs. Try reading closer.

No one said that either.

True, these aren't popular concepts .. part of that is because the techi wiki has ingrained itself so successfully into the general mentality of these forums.

Absolutely not! I post because I like to see where the holes in my ideas are. Just try to do it without the ad hominem and straw men, please.

Just wanted to remind everyone to stay on-topic - and to please refrain from personally attacking those you don't agree with. Thanks. :)

You're my favorite Commie, Jeska.

Here's a hole in your ideas Blaze... by aiding and abetting Prokofy in creating these stereotypes that have no basis in fact beyond individuals reacting negatively to one particularly offensive individual, you're actually CREATING the cultural divide you think you're merely pointing out. You think you're looking at the big picture when in fact you can't see the forest through the trees.

You can always learn something from the dumbest guy on the crew.

And I don't think Prok is particularly stupid. Often annoying, yes, always odious and insulting, sure, but not stupid.

Yes, you can learn what not to do. Please learn it.
