here's a screen capture of GOM from a few minutes ago.

why would someone sell at 3.75? there is more than enough bids ranging up to 3.90.

can someone explain this to me?

Take a look at the graph.. it's had the effect of making the graph drop, continuing the downward slide. You'll find the trade was only 1 or 2 blocks and purly to make the graph drop lower, giving the impressing of a downward spiral to the L$ value. The aim is to make other people think the sky is falling and panic sell...

The reality is the L$ is recovering quite nicely. Once the next true trade takes place the graph will be corrected to show the recovery. As it indeed has already as I type this...

Jamie has said he will be replacing the 'last trade' graph with a daily average, you won't be able to do this to a daily average graph.

I believe item 6.4 from the Terms of Service sums up your issues with SL money. SL marketing their game/software as a vehicle to buy/own isn't much different from the marketing language used to sell Monopoly board games.
