Thats just bloody stupid Eggy. I can do that anywhere. Ooh. That gives me an idea! Would anyone like to see Legoland-cum-escort-service in SL? We could like provide loads and loads of different colored prims for people to play with, and you can drop your loved ones off there and I'd mind them like a kinda of creche, then give them a good shagging after. The symbolic nature of the SL hand is something that I loved about SL from the day I first saw it.  Here is a quote from the website Madiera linked to:the Eye in the Hand.... .....What does it mean? The pancultural Eye-in-Hand icon manifests the integral and interactive bond between two essential human functions: sensing/observation (the Eye) and doing/acting (the Hand). Together these two abilities represent the most effective symbolic condensation of the ideals of human existence - omniscience (all-knowing) and omnipotence (all-powerful) - in a very simple two-part icon: the Eye in the Hand. tpk 21feb00 I would be surprised to find out that LL did not have this in mind when making their logo. EDIT: OH, and while most of the pictures are artistic, some of the pictures (drawn or real) on the website Madiera linked to may not be work safe for all. 2nd EDIT: Ok, it is like only 3 pictures maybe that may not be work safe. Well I was going to point you to a website that was all about the symbol, but Madeira beat me to it.
We liked the eye-in-hand symbol when we were originally looking at logo options because of what it says about creativity: with the eye (observation) and the hand (doing) combined. We looked at several symbols, but that one just leaped out as being the right one. It's also intriguing that the eye-in-hand has shown up in cultures throughout history, around the world. Something so ancient and steeped in human meaning seemed like a good way to go to symbolize a new world based on collaboration and creativity. _____________________

I hunted around for the digital files to share with you, but don't have them anymore. One was a sort of Buddha looking figure. I can't remember the others, but if I can find the files I'll let you know.
