Hello Linden people and all the rest out there.
I am pretty interrested in the SL Logo and was woundering what it means.
From what i can see its a one-eye, looks like inside a hand, could also be rays moving from the eye outwards.
I have my thoughts about what it could mean, but i would like some info from the lindens if its possible.

I've wondered about this too, Maximus.
I got some funny answers tying into the Illuminati and Freemasons. At least, I hope they were jokes.  A fine question. I wonder what the story behind it is -- and any alternate designs that were considered. _____________________

There used to be a page on the website that explained it, or had links to pages that had different explinations and showed the symbol through-out time and other locations its found... However it seems to be gone... and archive.org seems to give me two responses on pages that would contain it, either "javascript not enabled" from SL, or the archive pages aren't found. :|

Would anyone like to see Legoland-cum-escort-service in SL? symbolically eyes mean perception and enlightenment and hands mean power and creativity. just a guess. i think there's a hand with an eye symbol in hinduism but i might be wrong.
