I dunno, but this makes the second time the thread has been misplaced in General. Get this out of here, PLEASE. It's about There, a There employee being impersonated, and some person that is most definitely not a part of SL. The only tie it has to SL is that it occured on a NON-OFFICIAL SL-themed site.
So please, back to the OT forum.

I think this belongs in "General". It is totally about Second Life and virtual worlds. Off topic is for things like "Dog bites off owner's penis" and "Who do you want for President?". Something that actually has to do with SL should be in General.

The post you're refering to is my assurance that I will attempt to preserve the good name of the Creative Commons people, rather than allowing LL to attach it to such a unintended use of the concept. LL would still be entirely free to use whatever licensing scheme they wanted, they just wouldn't be able to attach the Creative Commons name to it. If I read their site correctly, that is.
