The clips currently on this site were all shot in one evening, so it was a little confusing to see them in the different sections. But, after asking Brad what is up, apparently there is a bug in his code for the site where if he didnt have a clip in each section, it wouldnt play ANY of the video in any section. Unfortunately he was trying to get out to SXSW and didnt have a chance to fix it before he left. He says he'll be tackling it again as soon as he is back from Austin. so, nothing stinky going on. All he is doing there is working around technical issues so that the video is viewable at all.

Lol, nothing stinky going on.
Looks like a cool project. There really is a lot of things going on with the people in SL that is not readily noticeble on the surface. It will be interesting to see how this project turns out.
By the way, Im in Austin and it would be cool to meet other SL folks. If you guys plan a meet up somewhere that does not require a badge to get in, post the info.

So we just got back from Austin. It was a great but very stressfully time. While there wasn't quite as many SL'ers as i hoped at SXSW, i still got to talk to some great people. Over the next couple of weeks will be releasing some clips on the web site so stay tuned.
I appreciate the great comments and interest by everyone who posted here. I discussed the idea with lots of people at SXSW from quite diverse backgrounds. Of course there is a lot of interest. Surprisingly, many people weren't even aware the game existed. Bruce Sterling thought the game was still in Beta.
As for the issue concerning the video date. As i began uploading the video i noticed a programming bug. Unfortunately, i didn't have the time to correct the issue before jumping on the plane to Austin. Now we're back and there is so much to do. In the end, those dates will represent the day we uploaded the clip onto the web. We plan on uploading these small clips on a weekly basis as the documentary progresses.
Again, thanks for all the comments and interest. I'd like to include the SL community as much as possible to ensure this documentary gets done right. We have here a great story to tell the anyone who will listen and from my expierences this past week this is a story many want to hear.

I LOVE IT SO FAR! I Love how you do the setting and filming, it is very clean and informative. It also helps that they are very good speakers, speak clearly, and everything is easily followed. I love it so far. Very professional.

I have to admit, this is one of the coolest things I've seen yet. I can't wait to see it completed. Mad props to everyone involved!

Well crud! I totally missed your original post. I live not five minutes from downtown Austin, and would have loved to have participated. Oh, well. :/

Nice project, site seems a little slow to transition and when I refreshed with IE it got messed up. But other than that it looks fantastic. Neph, what kinda accent do you have? Sounds kinda southernish but a bit different. Great job you guys did, very professional!

*waves* Production is still rolling along! From what I understand, Pierce has been having some issues with the site and is doing some work on it. Oz- The accent is southern. I am originally from the Atlanta area, but I have lived in the pacific northwest for the last two years- it makes for a strange mix. I am sure Pierce will have an update on the project very soon.
