Now that the MetaAdverse campaign has gotten my store more foot traffic then it has ever seen I can refocus my efforts back on creating. But I don't know what to make. I have so many interests that I end up making houses, furniture, clothes and games. But I am not sure what people actually want. And while I am in a mood to make "stuff" I can't narrow it down like I usually can.
So if you were to buy something in SL right now, what would it be?

What's your parcel, Kasandra with all this 'foot traffic', I'm curious as to what your dwell is.

From: Kasandra Morgan So if you were to buy something in SL right now, what would it be? While I wouldn't personally buy it, being a cheap "low-tier" customer, the door is wide open right now for the sales of land development. I'm waiting to see people buy land, develop it with an actual build, and sell it for profit. Maybe virtual real estate is better left as it is now, but something tells me this is a (mostly) untapped market.

ROFLMAO, its traffic for a store. I don't mean my store has become the new Island Elite. My dwell is somewhere in the low hundreds. Just search for my first name.

Not to mention I wouldn't want to tier up and this really doesn't fill the "need to create" I am feeling. Well the building of the houses does, I guess. It would just be a costly way to fill my need to make something.

This is true. The land market doesn't work quite like it does in reality, really. While we're on the subject, the other thing I could see selling are more... "artistic" living spaces. Stuff like the Jules Verne-like builds in SeaCliff. I rarely see that caliber of art in-world short of Crescent Moon (Montmatre, I believe), D'ni (Telador Island), and SeaCliff, so it's something I feel should be studied. Form and functionality is also something to explore there. What I liked most about these builds is they happily blended both - whereas other builds usually lend to one side or the other. It's something to think about. That, or you could work on more lavish clubs.

I could use some boots Kasandra Nice thigh high ones... But not Dominatrix boots! Just something to go with a short skirt.

This is a thought-provoking question. There are some things I'd like to purchase in SL that, to my knowledge, haven't been created or aren't publically available on the market yet due to whatever reason -- some of them are technical so I hope to see them in the future. Sometimes, the most wonderful stuff I buy are things I had no idea I would be so enamored with: two good examples would be Liam Roark's lightsabers (created from awhile back) because of my current desire to become a rabbity Jedi Knight in SL, and Cherabim Xia's furniture and back keys because of their whimsical nature. I'm also with Jeffrey on topic of blending form + function. Best of both worlds, as they say... you can have your pie and eat it too, and what's more, digest it after that and have a big happy smile on your face!

A Red Rider BB gun. Actually, I'd like to see some fun games- preferably something like Tetris (but not tetris) with scores I could save. It would be cool to be multiplayer too, like in Tetris where all these lines fall down on your own screen if the other person does a difficult combo.

I would buy a Kassandra Morgan, but only if it were a limited collector's edition and had a pretty bow.

When we get the ability to mod the UI, I can only imagine the number of "rave settings" people will invent.

But is it functional? It needs to give my avatar the chicken walk and make everything I type come out all f'ed up.

Theres drug dealers in the city sims too. I'd buy... World Peace Greater Intelligence Mule Any of the above. The Mule is actualy slightly more important to me than the other two.
