Ack! You mean I'm not the only one that dreams about SL? I feel SO much better now! :)

Ok, I caught myself doing something completely dumb today at work. I was working on an Excel spreadsheet. I wanted to see another part of the spreadsheet. Instead of hitting the scroll bar at the bottom, I hit ALT *left mouse click" and tried to get a new camera view of the spreadsheet! Worse than that...I got mad when it didn't work! Until I realized I was in RL and not SL...:D

I've dreamt about SL too, it's strange. Just like my dreams abour RL things, except we all look better!

I'm also guilty of trying to alt zoom webpages and things, kinda worrying really.

You know you've been playing too much SL when someone comes up to you and says, "Say, you've been playing too much SL." Then you turn around and realize that person is your landlord, and the people behind him are from the DWP.

I've seriously considered this as a way of explaining a design in 3D to clients. I'd definitely have to get a separate account for it though - imagine a client stopping by after hours! I'd have to explain the moss skirt and loincloth, hehehe. Or other hijinks.

You know you've spent too much time in SL when:

You see a box by the side of the road and want to right-click on it to see what's in it!

You say to your Sig Other: "slash kiss" or "brb"

You are in a store and could kick yourself for not bringing your didgital camera to get the neat designs on EVERYTHING so you can download them as textures!

OH GOD!

I need another cup of coffee!

I've lost track of all of the SL dreams I've had. Most of them revolve around scripting problems I'm having at the moment.

This has happened more then once:
I get up from the computer for a moment and realise that it is now 5PM and i'm still in my pajamas because the first thing I did in the morning was to check my IMs.

I set up my phone to check a special POP mailbox I set up just for SL...

A couple nights ago I had an hour long conversation with someone in-world from my phone while I was out of town =P

Re: digital camera wishes

i, personally, don't own a digital camera.. even though i should.. and my old fully manual 35mm camera is out of commission..

but i hear ya!!! i couldn't start to count the amount of times i've either thought to myself, or said outloud, how much i need to get a digital camera.. for that very reason!

"ooh! that would be great for a wall/shirt/exterior/etc!" :D
