After I parked my car at work, I looked up in the air to see a large bird that was just sorta gliding around going with the flow of the wind, presumably enjoying the freedom and peace afforded by flight, and then suddenly a little tiny little bird came over and started chasing it, causing the big one to flee, resulting in some kinda chaotic chase scene that went on for as long as I stood there and watched. The little bird kept chasing the big one, making all kinds of squawking noises.

My first thought was, "griefer bird".

Omg..I do that all the time...especially in photoshop hehe
every thing should have alt zoom!!!

I would say when you say to people lol, omg, IMHO, or I have done this one..you actually say woot...or when you start refering to things around you as textures like "I love the texture on your sofa...where did you find it?" hehe...there is never too much time to be had in sl...only not enough time to be had in a day!

Looking at something like a park bench and thinking about how many prims it's made up of.

Certain intraicate pieces of work IRL and thinking "wow, what prim wastage... you could get rid of that nobbly bit, use a transparent texture there..."

I do that frequently.

As for speaking acronyms, I've never done that. Perhaps I'm more of a visual psychology than an audio one, but I see LOL, OMFG etc as letters. At best, I'll laugh out loud or say "Oh my f--ing gawd"

When you cant play and have warped dreams about playing.

My PC is down right now and I cant play, so I been having these weird dreams. Its like I am playing SL with a broken computer. I cant see land features really and I cant see the AV I am interacting with, only the name text above their heads. The dreams themselves arent all that odd, just normal SL kind of things going on.

I just think its really weird that I am not dreaming in full technicolor. I think all the talk of virtual AV playing remotely and my broken PC is causing this odd style of dream. While dreaming, it all seems perfectly normal but when I wake up I let out a big "WTF".

Try not playing at all a couple of days, thats the real test of if you play too much

- When you try to bring up chat history as you are talking to RL people

- When a friend calls you up on the phone and you say " can you TP me ?"

- When u want to go to bed early - like 3AM

When you start using it to suppliment your RL instead of just as entertainment...
I needed to explain to my husband the idea I had in my head for the layout I wanted in our new backyard. Did I just sit down and draw it out on a paper? No, I spent an hour recreating the back of our house in the sandbox and building the backyard as I saw it in my mind so he could see my vision 3-D style and in color. Side note.. it worked really well.

I've often thought SL would make a good interior/exterior 3D design package, just hadn't tried it like that or heard anyone else try it until now.

Oooh Eve ..when I put a pool in I first created it in 3D Max ..and then could see it in 3D and animate it and move things to the exact centimetre...All good and well but dead.

But if I could actually walk around it in SL WOW ! even better

Last night I dreamed that the Lindens had created a gigantic crossroads on the waterway a little down from my property, and were intending to replace my waterfront vista with a highway.

I was not well pleased.

Must go in this morning and check, just in case ...

I know I have been playing too much

On the drive to work this morning I caught myself counting how many prims it would take to make one of the street lights I liked (i can do it in 5LOL) saw a sign and immediatly thought 3 easy! saw a tree ohh that alpha channel is going to be a bugger to do LOL .... at work...call to tech team "so there is absolutly no way I can load SL onto our company intranet??? my name....um Ms. Cotton" *click!

I dream about building nightly now, I think its a sickness but I DONT want a cure!!

hehe p.s. there is not button on my dashboard to debug the fog!

I keep my car keys on the same key ring as my front door key. Just lately I have found myself clicking my car remote control at my front door and momentarily expecting it to open.

It occurred to me when I thought about it that I was actually doing a rl mouse click, and expecting the door to slide open or become phantom.

I really must get out more - so long as I don't do it again when I get back!

for the longest time I had dreams with the minimap up in the corner. The dreams were normal everyday dreams. But I had a map!

I was at the mall and I looked at the side of the building. and I found myself wondering the primcount.....

A) Is it a default texture?
B) Does it have yellow divider lines underneath?
