Since the FIC concepts deal directly with the economy and the land that generates the economy, the FIC discussion belongs in this category.
Examples of topics that can be discussed here:
-- the presence or absence within SL of a feted, celebrated, cosseted minority of content-providers from the scripterati class, the class of content-barons, uber-architects, and others who make the visual artifacts of the world and the consumer products
--their unacceptable subsidy, feting, promoting, and cosseting by the Lindens
--the problems of a technologically-dominated world run by techno-geeks at the expense of basic civilization
--"what about the poor people with no talent" and the non-FIC
--"what abot the poor people with too much talent" and the FIC
--second-hand goods and their resale and the role of the FIC
Examples of topics that are off-topic and cannot be discussed here:
--Prokofy's hair and snakeskin boots
--the damn roof at Waterhead telehub
--doors, windows, and builds in general
--social democracy and Trotskyism
--buildings, good or bad, griefer or not
--what Maxx paid in his bid for Boardman next to the Bright Center of the Universe
I expect this thread to focus on the events du jour as the play out against this theme about favoritism and the existence of a spoiled, feted class who have been subsidized since the beta-test-love-fest, and their hangers-on, newbie apprentices, and other fanboyz and fangirlz.
Anybody who does not want to see WHINESCRAPERS just skips over this thread.

As a somewhat newer player who has read Prokofy Neva's latest posts, I've come to conclusion that Prokofy just wants attention. While I see very little damage done by posting for attention, I'm not a big fan of constantly negative posts. If I had just joined the community/game and started reading the forum, my opinion about SL would be slanted towards the negative side thanks to Prokofy's latest rants.
