You forgot to give him an elven rope with which to bind those riverfolk that would find 'precious' treasure.

I've found from experience that when you get a new boss / manager / person above you, you have to let them settle in a bit before you start giving them advice :)

Unfortunately due to an oversight between Eulers and Quanterions, the revolution spins out of control.

I’m relatively new with Second Life, so please bear with me as I learn all of its ins and outs over the next couple of weeks...
In addition to your Linden teammates, there's a wealth of knowledge in these forums, as well as many helpful, gracious members available to aid in your SL education.
You’re welcome to contact me in world or by email. However, I will likely not be able to respond to all your emails, IM’s and forum posts but please don’t let that dissuade you from contacting me. ;)

Howdy Chris welcome aboard!

From: Chris Linden
The good news is I believe I bring to the Linden team a fairly deep knowledge pool on managing the development of persistent worlds.

I would like to know what other persistent worlds you have had experience with, if you don't mind telling us all? (Unlike Aimee, I like seeing credentials LOL)

Hope to see ya in-world sometime! :)

Peace!
Arti

You see, our experts describe you as an appallingly dull fellow, unimaginative, timid, lacking in initiative, spineless, easily dominated, no sense of humour, tedious company and irrepressibly drab and awful. And whereas in most professions these would be considerable drawbacks, in chartered accountancy they are a positive boon.

I believe this is a valid question. While I'm not a liberty to discuss all the details of my employment history at this time, I can give you some very rough details.

I've so far worked on 3 persistent worlds (PW) in various stages of development and operation, in various capacities. The first and third PW I've worked on, unfortunately, never made it out the door, so they were purely development efforts. The second PW I’ve worked on is Ultima Online, which I was on for over 2 years. Most of the time on that project was in a lead capacity. Overall I have approximately 5 years of PW experience and of course many years of experiences as a player of MUDs/MMOs :) . Further to that, I’ve spent time working on Enterprise Systems outside the game industry, although that is starting to be ‘ancient history’ so to speak.

I was wondering cuz I've known quite a few people over the years in my various VR online pursuits and perhaps we have crossed paths before :D

I've been involved in alpha and beta of lots of projects here and there that unfortunately either never saw the light of day, or have fallen by the wayside because of poor management, lack of funding, or bad business decisions LOL c'est la vis???!!

I'm Artillo everywhere :p
