Hello everyone,

Now that Robin has properly introduced me, I though I would go ahead and establish communication with all of you on the forums in person. I’m relatively new with Second Life, so please bear with me as I learn all of its ins and outs over the next couple of weeks. The good news is I believe I bring to the Linden team a fairly deep knowledge pool on managing the development of persistent worlds.

As Robin mentioned, I will be working in Development and Quality Assurance (QA) managing feature tracking, priorities, bugs, and the release process. Essentially, I’ve joined the Linden team to help add elements of organization to Second Life development. I will also be communicating with all the other departments to ensure they are in the loop with everything going on in Development and QA. Although I am primarily internally focused, you’re welcome to contact me in world or by email. However, I will likely not be able to respond to all your emails, IM’s and forum posts but please don’t let that dissuade you from contacting me.

It's good to know that LL is expanding that department -- I'm sure you'll have lots of work to do :) Welcome again!

Chris, great to see you are off to a fast start. You may already have heard that I am in charge of setting bug and feature priorities and I am looking forward to working for you in the coming days (no need to verify my credentials, I am sure you will find them all in order).

What I need from you will be a quick rearrangement of bug priority levels placing "priv exploits" and "upskirt photography prevention" at the highest level. I would also like to get some digital photos of you in my e-mail box by the end of the week (maybe something in a poet shirt). Don't get all wobbly on me now...this is BUSINESS!

I am seeing corner office in YOUR future my friend!

Lucky for me, I brought along some bug spray! The extra strength kind from Home Depot. I'm going to see if it works around here. :)

Recent news has it that a simple catch-all solution has been found for preventing upsckirt photographs.
