The FIC is the sole property and invention of one Prokofy Neva. We must all pay him exactly L$.02 whenever we use the term, and not one of any of the rest of us in SL knows exactly what it means since it exists solely in Prokofy's mind. Oops, now I owe Prokofy L$.02.

Geez, Aimee, shouldn't I be like all the FICs and give out loads of free stuff set on "no mod/no transfer" lol? At least when I put the FIC expression out in the word it got modded to "fetid" within seconds by Ingrid and now it has replicated like Ivan-chai (is that called kudzu in the US?) all over the forums and the game. You can't charge for a thing like that. However, I still charge $50/week for log-ins to the New World  From: someone

If you have to ask, that is a sure-fire way to know you are NOT in it. Those that laugh about it most are often right in the thick of it. Those that get angry about it most are often nearest its hot core. Those that take it seriously are far from it. Those that ignore it or claim it doesn't matter often segue into it or are wannabees. You will know when you have discovered the FIC, and what Pathfinder is giving you now is merely a way to accelerate that process, like an X-Flight ball.
