I just heard from someone who spoke to a Linden's alt's friend's room mate. There's a 1.6 party right now and only card-holding FIC can log in.

FIC stands for Feted Inner Core... now, what exactly that truly means is as open to interpretation as most religious documents in existence; meaning we may never truly know the truth behind the FIC.
Supposedly, the FIC represents the "old guard", residents who have been around anywhere from early Beta testing (and some from Alpha testing) up to shortly after the launch of SL. Some people believe that this gives these Residents some sort of stroke (behind the scenes power) when it comes to several of the online Lindens, which such claims have yet to be completely proven (I'm not saying that this may or may not have happened, just that none of the claims of this favortism have been completely substantiated). There's many more people here on these forums who could break down the minutia of the FIC; I know that I couldn't... I don't feel like writing a doctoral thesis dissertation length diatribe on the subject. I hope this helps a little bit. Bye bye for now, Alexis |
