Bored at work, today? Go here to find out your type. Then come back here to vote and discuss. (Hold your horses before posting! Give me time to add the poll. ) NOTE: When you click on the above link, ignore all of the gobbledy-gook on the top half of the page. Scroll down a ways, and you'll see the questionnaire. Sowwy for da confuzion. PS NOTE: When answering the questionnaire, go with your first impressions and don't spend more than a few seconds on each one. PPS NOTE: Go here for descriptions of each type: http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/descript.asp

My gosh, this is tough for me because it's radio buttons instead of checkboxes and I've been BOTH choices per most of the questions in different phases of my life. Okay, will answer in present tense then...

Okay, will answer in present tense then... Hehe, the quiz is located here: http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/dis_sample_36.asp. It will give you a single score (maybe including sub-types, but I'm limited to 10 options lol).

Thanks Paolo -- my gosh, the questions are phrased in such a way that I'm finding it REALLY hard to answer. Eeeps.
I'll try a rough approximation tho... coming up in a few min . . .

I took the test and I'm definitely a type 4 -- nice! Well, not bad. JD Salinger, Edgar Allen Poe, Bob Dylan are among the other Individualists. We also have Michael Jackson, damn it.

Haha... I'm apparently: Type Seven The EnthusiastThe busy, productive type. Sevens are extroverted, optimistic, versatile, and spontaneous. Playful, high-spirited, and practical, they can also misapply their many talents, becoming over-extended, scattered, and undisciplined. They constantly seek new and exciting experiences, but can become distracted and exhausted by staying on the go. They typically have problems with impatience and impulsiveness. At their Best: they focus their talents on worthwhile goals, becoming appreciative, joyous, and satisfied. Okay, that's weird. I can see how that makes sense NOW, but Torley of '99 is laughing at this. WEE LOOK IM ENTHUSED!!!

From: Roseann Flora I'm a seven also. I don't like the picture for the enthusiast.o_O Hehe, doesn't she look like she has a moustache? Wax, dahling, wax! So, now that you all have discovered the innermost truth about yourselves ( ), what do you think? Considering what you know about your fellow OT alumni, are you surprised by any of the results? What about your own results -- any epiphanies?

I picked the investigator before I took the test and then I actually read the entire post and took the test. Lo and Behold - turns out I am the investigator type (a 10 in this category). Average: Begin conceptualizing and fine-tuning everything before acting — working things out in their minds: model building, preparing, practicing, and gathering more resources. Studious, acquiring technique. Become specialized, and often "intellectual," often challenging accepted ways of doing things. / Increasingly detached as they become involved with complicated ideas or imaginary worlds. Become preoccupied with their visions and interpretations rather than reality. Are fascinated by off-beat, esoteric subjects, even those involving dark and disturbing elements. Detached from the practical world, a "disembodied mind," although high-strung and intense. / Begin to take an antagonistic stance toward anything which would interfere with their inner world and personal vision. Become provocative and abrasive, with intentionally extreme and radical views. Cynical and argumentative. On the not so great side they mentioned a psychotic break with reality - one could classify SL as this, particularly when it has kept me up for two days straight. Oh and it also mentioned poor eating and sleeping habits due to minimizing needs. Neglecting hygiene and nutrition. Lack of physical activity. Psychotropic drugs for mental stimulation and escape, narcotics for anxiety. Yum... Magic Mushrooms.... .

Don't feel bad, Rose! Read the "unhealthy" description of my type (4). Here is an excerpt: Despairing, feel hopeless and become self-destructive, possibly abusing alcohol or drugs to escape. In the extreme: emotional breakdown or suicide is likely. Generally corresponds to the Avoidant, Depressive, and Narcissistic personality disorders.LOL - I think we could both use some happy pills. BTW Rose, I think you very much exemplify the healthy Investigator here in these forums.

From: Vanillia Tapioca I am Type 2. Cool! This is the the type I thought I was prior to taking the quiz. I was kinda surprised I was such a strong 4, actually. At any rate, we need more of your type to help sort out the messes the rest of us make.

Hmmmph. As usual with these things, my score was smeared all over the place. I just barely registered a preference for The Peacemaker, and the only thing I'm not is The Challenger.
