And besides I like all the wierd stuff :o

I'll mention Juuni Kokki (Twelve Kingdoms) and Gundam X since that's what my SL AV character is from. w00t.

I like all the gundam series, and dragon ball, and cosmic baton girl comet-san, and card captor sakura, and sailor moon.

Did you know that in the english translation, sailor Chibi Moon was renamed Sailor Mini Moon?

I imagine it went something like this...

Crystal Palace:

Sailor Mercury: Neo Queen Serenity! We've created a new Sailor scout! She's exactly like you in every way, but one eighth your size!

Neo Queen Serenity: I shall call her, Mini Me. *puts finger to mouth*

I liked Beserk a lot. HeatGuyJ is interesting and has a really nice bright animation style.

A couple of my recent Favorites are Neon Evangelion and Hellsing. Both are very addictive series.

Whoa, a Berserk fan????? As in Gatz, century slayer, etc.?

I suppose I'll have to excuse you for mentioning Neon Genesis Evangelion, then. :D

Latest one I've seen that I like was Macross Plus. It's short but not bad. Read or Die is a better (although ultimately ridiculous) short series though.

Read or Die (OVA) is old?

I really need to try to duplicate some of those "paper" effects in SL some time...

Lodoss is pretty cool, I like the show up until where Orson dies and the new characters start taking over. After that I haven't watched too many. OVA is good of course.

I just found Witch Hunter Robin on Adult Swim...very nice. Not sure I'm quite hooked but def peaked my interest.

I noticed that .hack and WHR have one of the same VAs in then the other night :D I ususally don't notice that kind of stuff but I was like "Hey, thats Crim!" only it was on WHR.

Ack! How could I have forgotten to mention the .hack series. Yeah, totally, although it would be a lot trippier if one of us got stuck immersed in SL...

.hack//sign was the best, yeah.

Hehe, it's really pretty well-hidden. At the bottom of the threaded forum screen, you'll see a "jump to" selection box. Select the "User control panel," and the profile and avatar customization options can be found there.

Read or Die (OVA) is good. The TV series is decent so far, but I haven't really even started it yet (three episodes only) but it makes GREAT references to the OVA, from what I can tell, so it'll probably be a great show...

Chobits is great.

Last Exile is GOD. Period.

Haibane Renmei was great too. You can really tell it's from the people who made Lain.

I'm also working my way through Kiddy Grade, which, at the eleventh episode, is great, and starting to toss in the real underlying serious plot, in a believable fashion.

A couple I've seen but didn't really like would be Najica Blitz Tactics (only saw one episode), and Abenobashi Mahou Shoutengai. Abenobashi was decent, and I watched the whole thing, but it didn't grab me.

I'm on about 11-12 of the RoD TV series. The OVA is a MUST see before the TV series (can't wait until they bring a certain OVA character into the TV series, and they had better do it!!!!!)

If you're only on 3 you have much better things awaiting you, the connections to the original characters just keeps getting more developed. You'll be hooked by around 10 or so if not before, just out of sheer curiousity due to the mystery factor. And the TV series fights don't disappoint, either.

OH, and a cool OVA character shows up soon (well a few actually). Get watching that...:p

Neph, you're going to loooooove Paranoia Agent.

And no, ROD OAV isn't old, but it's available on home video, which in a dark corner of my mind still equates. So sad...

LOL, I love the titles the Japanese come up with. That one sounds like some sort of breakfast cereal (that most definitely would cause cancer) :D
