These economic changes are good. It will increase the value of the linden dollar. Basic econ, people.
So I propose we bring back beta taxes, give these new players complaining a run for their money, for real. Then maybe they will have something to complain about.
Until then, suck it up, dump your petition, and actually try making something to feed your SL addiction instead of getting a handout. Who's with me? Flea? Garth? Pit? Bone? Jai? Ramon? All we need are tea crates and signs "BRING BACK TAXES NOW!"

I agree with your overall feelings regarding all the complaining the last few days. I guess there are more ppl out there expecting a free ride than anyone thought. And while I like the idea of taxing ppl just to give them something to really complain about, I have a feeling that the changes being implemented now will help take care of those that really do expect a free ride. Yeah, "Beta Tax Theme Week", so it wouldn't be "forever", but the newcomers to the gridverse would get a real ad hoc taste of THE TAXBROTH. I'd like to feel what it was like, and cry primtears out in the agonized fury of my innerspace.
