Pick a new name

I took the low road and went with a pun, but I still like it. I also generally use the avatar that I made within hours of becoming a resident. I think I changed the eye color after a couple weeks, and went from black shoes to brown, but otherwise the same old noobie av.

When I first joined SL in January, it was via a donated account from someone who had signed up and hated SL, so my avatar was named Martinito Starseeker. I admittedly hated SL as well, so I did not play it much between January and April.

When I finally did become more involved, I decided to make a new avatar with my own first name, hence Cristiano Midnight. When my girlfriend joined a little while later, she was actually able to get my RL last name, which was not available at the time I made mine, or I might have grabbed that instead (I am creative with building but I tend to be uncreative with naming my avatars, I have always used my own name in some form).

As it stands, I would not change my name now - I am rather fond of being in the small group of Midnights in SL.

I thought about a name for about a day. I go by Kierra (or some variant) in most other places online. But after an afternoon of thinking about it I decided on Monica Lorentz, I think it was. So I signed up with it, but somehow my info got messed up and failed. So, frustrated, I just thought up another one real quick. I didn't figure I'd be staying too long, who knew But Im happier with the new one since my last name is super rare. I think Purple is the only other Portocarrero who plays regularly.

But, I'm jealous of one name someone came up with... Nothing flows off the tongue better than 'Onionmorph Stephanopolis' Well except mebe Zee Feaver, I like that name too

well because superman sim Big John Jade is the one who turned me on to SL.....I choose Jade as well....I love names that begin with same letter for first and last name....and to spite what everyone thinks....I didnt choose my name because of Tomb Raider girl....it was that song that Dolly Parton sings....my mother loved her so.....(missing you mom).

But I really wish that I could change Mark Roarks last name.....their is a member that insists that Mark is her brother in SL and RL.........THEY ARE NOT RELATED IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM!!!!!!!!!!..............heh

At first, since I didn't know much about the people here, I wasn't sure exactly what name to choose. Aftera lot of thought and a long review of the list of last names, I decided, albeit with a little hesitation.

But once I joined in, I was very happy to see that people in this community have extended their creativity far and wide.

I love my name. And I love my SL.

well eltee's a finely evolved game handle i'm more'n happy with... statosky.. eh...

i like stato-sky (tho they've have better sky/star last names since)... im kinda BLARGH that 90% of people think its how you'd spell the polish sounding 'statoski'

sky is not ski, you ski on mountains not clouds... aint that hard
