Torley? Torley is the worst person I have ever met. She is an attention whore who does nothing but play on her stupid piano and screw with people and their normal life. My experiance with torley has been a horrible one, and I hope she never, EVER, comes near me agian.

Thank you graciously to each of you, to all of you...

I am sooo grateful to be in SL with you, and I mean this in no small way. Each day I spend inworld reaffirms my beliefs. As I have been known to say: there is so much pain and suffering in the world, and the time we spend amusing each other and the ensuing laughter goes so far towards an increased abundance of happiness. To be able to connect, to interact, to rez kewl miscellanea and pwonder (ponder+wonder) our asses off... it is wonderful, WoNdErFuL.

And deeper than that . . . . It must be bluntly and explicitly stated, time and time again, that while SL has game-aspects to it, it goes far beyond that and really touches and impacts lives, as we have seen on here -- repeatedly! People have discovered new things about themselves, fallen in love, learned to embrace exciting possibilities. To dismiss SL as a source of personal empowerment and creative expression is to dismiss the lightbulb as a source of illumination!

One reason why I am so positive is because of the sadness I personally have experienced in my life, and I'm sick and tired of it. Given a choice, I'd rather better the lives of others than load crap on them. I come from a darker place and I wasn't always this giddy way, ala Xena the Warrior Princess. Being happier was very much a conscious purpose I wanted to fulfill -- and as logical as that sounds for such an abstract concept, I know what I am feeling. And I am feeling good. And even in a harsh place in first life now with my hyperacusis (hearing problems), I come to SL and am reminded of what sunshine there exists. In fact, I often sit on the virtual grass or on top of a building, watching sunsets and sunrises and basking in the sweet warmth... which is considerably trickier for me to do offline.

I look forward to many more adventures with you in the timeline, and should I ever find myself in a bleak place in the future (as I know I will -- such is reality), I shall remember what has been said right here, right now.

I met Torley just a few nights before Toys for Tots events and was elated to find such a joyous and busy person being happily pleasant to a passer-by. I've read her blog, too, and am honored that I've made the acquaintance of such a wonderful person.
