Probably the most uncomfortable thing I've ever seen was a small video clip of a tenis player. (S)he was doing some kind of sideways run and tried to stop too fast while the foot was at a bad angle. The foot folded over sideways and you could see bones sticking out. >shudder<

rotten.com... don't go there unless you want to be haunted by some truely horrifying images. When I looked years ago I found some shocking stuff that I could handle so I continued. Eventually I found an image that freaked me out. It would come unbidden to mind for weeks afterward.
