From: Rose Karuna Chip - it kind of gave me chills when I read this because I still do this and so frequently that I don't even take note of it anymore. It's happens when I'm doing really mundane stuff like vacuming and dishes. I see faces and other things in the raised pattern on the carpet or in the soap suds in the sink. One time on vacation in Jamaica I got ahold of some mushroom tea and I was watching patterns in a rain storm - really wicked. Someone once told me that this was a form of obsessive compulsive disorder, but it's not so extreme that it's affects me much and it's kind of fun except for when I'm late for stuff because I lose track of time and really can't explain to anyone why I was side tracked by soap suds, or rain, or leaves or clouds. Wow - I just read this and realized that I sound nuttier than the person who bid 22K on a 10 year old sandwhich. hehe, nutty people unite! I used to wonder if I was mildly scizophrenic because of the auditory hallucinations, but if that were true it wouldn't have stopped. I'm more inclined to think it was just an active imagination. The line between fantasy and reality was much thinner and more fluid when I was a kid. I miss that

Actually, to me the cheese sandwich looks like a different Mary altogether.
It looks to me like the image of Mary Pickford.

From: Chip Midnight hehe, nutty people unite! I used to wonder if I was mildly scizophrenic because of the auditory hallucinations, but if that were true it wouldn't have stopped. Don't worry. I read somewhere* the schiziophrenia goes beyond seeing/hearing things (either hallucinations or accidental paterns, associations, faces etc..)- the critical part of the mind that thinks wait a second- how could this be? doesn't work properly. Thus they're more likely to treat their mismatched perception as something real and obvious. I'm overgeneralizing, but you get the idea. From: someone I'm more inclined to think it was just an active imagination. The line between fantasy and reality was much thinner and more fluid when I was a kid. I miss that I bet SL players in general have more active imaginations than the average person. That's one of the reasons I like it so much. Any bizaro thing that pops in my head can be built and scripted *yeah I know, real professional reference here

*sigh* if only life were in simpler days. We wouldn't have all these problems.
