From: Cristiano Midnight Wuvme,
You have to play World of Warcraft, just so that I can see you as a hoochie night elf. You mean you'd actually log in for once? *smooches*

Played WoW since a little b4 beta. Hate the downtime and bugs, but what game doesn't have it. I prefer it over Lineage 2 and SWG. EQ2 i haven't played and well have no desire to play. WoW's a game fun for butt kicking, the professions aren't bad either, esp. if u sell money you've made on certain auction sites *ahem*. You can't compare WoW to SL. A totally different genre. I say play both Oh I have a 60 Rogue/Druid (alliance) on Thunderlord - PVP all the way, with a few horde elsewhere

WoW is a lot of fun when your a 'young' player. I've been playing since the beta and have really enjoyed it. However I find the 'end game' to be quite dull. I've 3 level 60 characters on 3 different servers. At the top level (lvl 60 atm) you can continually run thru a few dungeons grinding for gear drops (where a few hours run might yeild you nothing), you can grind kills for gold or rare items, or you can now choose to kill other opposing faction players. None of that's really interesting to me. I like the questing and adventure and new scenery as you go, but re-running raids or partaking in the zerg is boring IMHO. I pretty much dont play any more and on each server my guild and real life friends usually seem to hit lvl 60 and get burnt out as well. Too bad too with about 1000 gold just sitting there I would say it wouldn't hurt to try the game and sign up for 1 month. You get one month free with the purchase so that gets you thru 2 months then and thats not a huge investment. I've been trying Guild Wars since release day 1 and the scenery is truly amazing (IMHO also). You can pick it up for $39 at Target and no monthly fees is cool. It was created by ex-Blizzard designers (in part) so it has some great features you'd come to expect from them. However I dont find it as immersive, big, or social as WoW, and the peak is currently level 20. The nice thing about it is that you can take your time and play as you like since you arent tied to a monthly charge. And, its is nice to have something to play with like that when you can't get logged in to SL. It's also kinda nice there are no 'servers' that your avie lives on, so friends can join you without having to be on 'your server'. This stuff is all MY OPINION btw.....

Ive tried WOW and found it to be quite fun. Its more fun when you find a good group of ppl to join with on your quests. I am lucky to have found the best I agree with the comments of the scenery some places are absolutely stunning! And what girl doesnt like the thrill of slaying a spider twice her size! LOL Rosa

From: Jesse Brearly I do agree that WoW is much more casual friendly and a hella lot more solo'er friendly. EQ2 is getting better in that regard, to the point where I cancelled my WoW account and am playing EQ2 almost exclusively (apologies to the neighbors who have to put up with my half-finished chapel build in SL - I will get back to it someday!). The crafting system is MUCH better, and overall it just is more textured and satisfying.
